ADMIN TOOLS, PLAYER STREAMS & GAMEPLAY POLISH
Development preview — these changes are being tested ahead of a future live release.
This development cycle has focused on better tools for supporting players, reviewing gameplay and sharing adventures.
The Admin Control Center has expanded. Player streams, audience chat and a clip library have been introduced in the development build, alongside a redesigned viewing experience.
Streaming performance and historical playback remain under development.
ADMIN CONTROL CENTER
Staff can now search for characters and inspect their class, level, location, equipment and inventory summary.
Character details distinguish current information from saved information when a player is offline.
Expanded support tools include:
- Character search and detailed inspection.
- Item search and inventory management.
- Health, mana and Energy Shield restoration.
- Return to a safe spawn location.
- Spell search and controlled ability management.
Actions show clearer results and are recorded with a reason and an outcome. These tools remain restricted to authorised staff.
GAMEPLAY REVIEW
The gameplay review interface has received a substantial visual update.
The redesigned view provides more room for the world, clearer equipment information and separate sections for gameplay events and chat.
Character rendering has also been corrected so watched characters remain visible above the appropriate world sprites.
Review tools include recorded history, playback controls and saved review cases. Historical playback and rewind are still being validated.
PLAYER STREAMS
Players can choose to broadcast their gameplay and invite others to watch through the in-game Streams interface or Portal.
Streams show the game view, HUD and mouse pointer. Gameplay chat is hidden from broadcasts, and keyboard input is not shared.
Broadcasting is voluntary. Players control when sharing starts and stops, and viewers cannot control the broadcaster’s character.
A BETTER VIEWING EXPERIENCE
Streams now opens from the Escape menu, keeping the minimap clear.
Joining a stream opens the broadcaster’s viewing experience directly.
The updated interface includes:
- Larger viewing and preview areas.
- Fullscreen controls.
- Stream titles and broadcaster names.
- Viewer counts.
- Clearer live, paused and waiting states.
- Direct controls for leaving a stream.
Picture quality, smoothness and latency remain active development priorities.
AUDIENCE CHAT
Streams have their own audience chat, available in the game and Portal.
Viewers and broadcasters can talk together without mixing stream messages into ordinary gameplay chat.
Audience chat remains real-time when a broadcaster uses video delay.
CLIP LIBRARY
Players can save short gameplay moments, name their clips and revisit them in the clip library.
Sharing is an explicit choice. Broadcasters can also decide whether viewers may create clips from their stream.
Supported selections reach up to 30 seconds when enough recorded history is available. Private and shared clips have separate visibility controls.
BROADCAST DELAY
Broadcasters can select a video delay before starting a stream:
- No intentional delay.
- 5 seconds.
- 10 seconds.
- 15 seconds.
- and longer.
This gives players a way to share their adventures while reducing the usefulness of live information for stream sniping.
PERFORMANCE & POLISH
Work has continued on reducing the impact of broadcasting on normal gameplay.
Further improvements address picture quality, frame handling and playback timing.
Viewer playback still needs improvement. Consistently smooth video and low latency remain release goals.
THE NEXT STEP
The immediate focus is finishing viewer performance and historical playback.
Development will then return to refining the admin tools and improving player-support workflows.
